PAINTED PIGGY TOES!!!

had a ball at the TExas Roads Winery last week, had a paint your toes party.....now that was fabulous fun!!! I got hot pink with black zebra stripes...we sat around and talked and laughed and all had our toesies painted. check out the winery downtown CAnton, Texas, they have frozen white wine based bellinis that are fabulous!!

Lovin' Life in spite of the Brandy Lea Knee!

First Monday is over, the heat liked to have got us down here! There was one point that I thought I was going down, but I knew I had a radio on my hip and maybe, just maybe I would go down in front of a vendor who would grab the radio and get me some help, but I muddled through and didn't pass out. I made sure to drink more water that evening and the next day!!But we survived another August, wow. Thank you Lord. Deals of the month: prom necklace $5.00, grecian turquoise and ultra bling shoes $12.50, and sock it to me ring $8.99!!!! thank you REbecca's Ranch and Audrey's.

Lots of fun things planned for August, trip to Bossier, Paint your piggy toes party at the TExas Roads Winery in Downtown Canton, a couple of special gal's birthdays, and of course school starts back up and right there will be me the Football mom EXTREME!!!

Got this hair done and I'm ready to head to Fort Worth for Saturday night stay at Miss Molly's B&B and some best friend birthday celebratin'......Joe T's first, then Northside. Looking very forward to it!!!!!!

Double C STeakhouse in downton Winnsboro...fabulous

Eric and I went to the Double C Steakhouse in old downtown Winnsboro Saturday night May 29th....the flat iron steak for 17.99 i highly recommend and I rarely eat steak!! it was HUGE, and so very tender. I ordered the grilled chicken and it was wonderful, but Eric's really made me envious! the homemade potatoe salad was so yummy and they have homemade croutons for the salad bar. Go check it out!!!

okayyyyy. So last night...Harbor, Rockwall, Blue Canyon patio.....at 6:15pm it's pretty smokin hot out there. I mean broiling, smokin....HOWEVER the harbortinis as Haulz calls them were quite the wonderful refreshment from the heat. The "rockwall" sushi was fabulous for those that love the sushi style but don't like the raw fishy taste. Now for the big event...the movie "we" all waited for all year SEx and the CiTY 2. It started off with a crazy gay wedding, that would have made me quite envious except that my out in the country, on the hill, in the pecan trees with a disco ball hanging high was tons of fun. ok back on track, the MOVIE. aw man. like that. f-l-a-t. that's all I can say about THAT.

Tonight is the big night...after months of waiting for the big -take it up where they left it off, ROUND TWO, cinematic deluxe movie of the year SEx and the City2. I have to admit....I peeped at the reviews. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Booooo freakin' hoo to Gary Cogill..or whatever his name is at wfaa.com he gave Shrek the 4th a good review....... I intend on having a seat at Blue Canyon, having a harbortini with 12 of my closest friends including my besty Haul, sitting back and letting the magic take me away to a whole new world......"like Jasmine in "Aladdin", only with cocktails!!"
